Nepali Community

We are believed to be descendants of migrants from parts of greater Nepal, Tibet, India, Burma and Yunnan region of China. Our language is derived from Sanskrit and is considered closest to it and written in the Devanagiri script. It is an official language of India and is widely spoken in Uttaranchal as well as in Assam.
